NEW YORK CITY

Street photography in NYC is a captivating and exhilarating experience. As a photographer, it's my favorite place to capture moments frozen in time. The vibrant energy and diversity of the city are reflected in its people, who provide endless inspiration. Whether it's a fashionista strutting down 5th Avenue or a vendor selling hot dogs on a bustling corner, each individual tells a unique story. The subway acts as a dynamic backdrop, with its ever-changing cast of characters, creating fascinating compositions. Additionally, the neighborhoods in NYC are like distinct microcosms, each with its own flavor and atmosphere. From the artistic enclaves of Greenwich Village to the bustling streets of Chinatown, there is never a shortage of captivating scenes waiting to be captured through the lens. NYC truly offers a never-ending playground for street photographers like myself.

Chicago

Chicago was my first venture into shooting street photography outside of the familiar streets of OKC. The city, with its bustling energy and dynamic urban landscapes, instantly captivated me. From the towering skyscrapers to the vibrant street art, every corner held a potential frame ready to be captured. Chicago felt like the ultimate street photography playground, until I finally made my way to the true Mecca of street photography: New York City.

NOLA

When we arrived in NOLA, short for New Orleans, I had no clue that it would emerge as one of the most interesting destinations for original street photography. The city's charm extended beyond its eclectic culture and rich history, encapsulating a cornucopia of photographic opportunities. As I roamed the streets of this enchanting city, I discovered a tapestry of people, architecture, and streetscapes, each possessing a distinct and mysterious allure. The locals' genuine warmth and infectious energy added a layer of authenticity to every frame. The architectural grandeur of the French Quarter mingled harmoniously with the lively colors and intricate designs of creole cottages and shotgun houses, inviting the shutter to capture their timeless beauty. But it was the ephemeral moments that truly stole the spotlight—the impromptu jazz performances, the laughter of children chasing bubbles, and the enthralling juxtapositions that unfolded at any given time.
